THE LOOK FOR LESS: Restoration Hardware Cloud Copycat Sofas

A lot of you have been asking about my sofa so I figured I would dedicate a whole post to it. We previously had a chaise sectional from Article and although we liked it, it really wasn’t practical from our experience. Luckily we were able to sell it and put it towards a sofa that checked off all of our boxes. Pasq and I love to cozy up and watch movies together so we wanted something that was super deep, comfy and big!

The Restoration Hardware Cloud Slipcovered Sofa will forever have my heart but for the hefty $11k price tag, I’ll pass. I wanted to find something similar that had a low frame and sink in cushions. I’m so over the midcentury look with the hairpin legs, I’m all for relaxed modernism.

Luckily, there are so many affordable copycat versions of the sectional that’s on everyone’s “dream couch” list.

Here’s the RH Cloud Inspired Sofa We Bought:

Our sofa is from Huffman Koos and I’ll be honest I was really surprised we found our “dream couch” here. I typically don’t shop from big box furniture stores but Pasquale convinced me to take a look one day when we were driving by and I agreed. Not only did we find exactly what we were looking for but we got such a great deal on it. It was Labor Day Weekend so we were able to negotiate them down to $2000 all in. We felt like we hit the lotto! Unfortunately I don’t think they have this sofa online but it’s their modular sofa in linen and can be completely customized.

By the way, this Cloud Cotton Quilt from Parachute is literally heaven. The overstuffed waffle texture is light, but so soft and fluffy. We originally used this as bedding but it’s now our favorite cuddle blanket for the sofa. We’re obsessed!!!!

I also have the matching Cloud Cotton Euro Shams that I use as pillows. I’m telling you its worth every penny- you won’t ever want to leave your sofa.
