Engagement Session in Mexico
Viviendo un sueño. A living dream…that is what each day is like in Tulum. I knew this was the perfect location to capture our love because it’s so effortlessly beautiful. I found a local photographer to take our photos at the hotel Casa Malca – most famously known for being Pablo Escobar’s mansion- so we went for Narcos vibes. The photo session was quick, maybe 30 minutes because we were both suffering from too much tequila from the night before. We drank wayyyy too many spicy margaritas but if we weren’t hungover for our engagement photos, it just wouldn’t be us.

[…] This is hands down the coolest hotel Tulum, mainly because rumor has it that Casa Malca was once Pablo Escobar’s old private getaway mansion. It has since been converted to an art-centric hotel filled with edgy pieces like vintage dentist chairs and subjective paintings. We stayed here for one night and binged on spicy margaritas all night. It was a mood.
