Being self-made
Figure it out.
That was literally the mantra of my childhood and I never would have imagined the impact it would have on my adult life.
You want a ride to a friends house? A new car? Extra spending cash? Figure it the f##k out. My mother raised me to be independent and I never understood the caliber of this trait until I reached my early twenties.
I’ve always been obsessed with chasing dreams and goals of my own. The thrill of cultivating my own future has countered any disenchantment I may have felt when my strategies failed. I’m obsessed with work and maximizing my strengths; I love building things from the ground up.
One of the most influential books I’ve ever had the privilege of reading is “Think and Grow Rich.” What an unconceivable concept that is, one might say. How can you think and grow rich? But I truly believe that you can translate powerful thoughts mixed with definitive purpose into POWERFUL action.
I believe too many people are capped by their own limitations and simply just exist instead of finding their burning desire to live. I made the decision to leave my salary paying job back in 2014 to take on a risk that scared the shit out of me. No guaranteed income- eat what you kill kinda thing. Life threw a curveball at me and I had to fight or flight. I had less than $500 to my name and was about to live out of my car. I have learned so much about myself in these last 4 years and it’s been such an amazing, empowering journey.
I see so many women exploit themselves to fulfill a false sense of “success” but I never had an interest in that. That’s temporary hype and who respects you at the end of the day? Nobody. I would rather struggle for everything I own than have anything handed to me.
WORKING CREATIVE VS WORKING HARD
I am not blessed with privilege, but blessed with drive. I believe in working CREATIVE- not hard. The people that constantly complain about money just haven’t figured this out yet. I found myself unable to advance in my 9-5 because I was too creative, I felt marginalized by default. I identified I had a creative brain pretty early in life, and I wasn’t carved out for the conventional work that my peers were doing. I’m obsessed with creating new monetary channels, it’s never a good idea to keep all of your eggs in one basket.
Diversify, diversify, diversify.
My primary business is my bread and butter and my absolute PASSION which I am grateful for. It helps me invest into new opportunities that further fulfill my dreams as well as financial stability.
My point is, DON’T LET FEAR DEBILITATE YOUR DREAMS. If you aren’t growing you’re regressing. Create a vision so big that you jump out bed with excitement every morning. Surround yourself with great people that are positive visionaries and support your goals. Be obsessed.
XO, Victoria.

So inspiring! I think it’s such a good thing to be independent and you should always have goals you want to achieve, but don’t set them so far out of reach that they’re impossible jus try to do things because you love them not just for the money 🙂
